Most often associated as being a shrub, we grow Tamarix as a clear stemmed tree. It can tolerate salt laden winds and spray but is equably at home inland where it produces a mass of pink fluffy flowers in late spring to compliment its dainty foliage. A tree that is evocative of old fashioned Mediterranean fishing villages.
Species available: Tamarix aestivalis, Tamarix tetandra.

Our Sizes
The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.

A Large tree will be supplied in a 85L or 100L container and will be approximately 4 to 5 metres tall. |
