A first rate choice for coastal, exposed and windswept sites, it thrives even on very chalky soils. Pyramidal at maturity, it retains its bushy, juvenile appearance for much longer than our British native, Scots Pine. Walk behind a low branched pine on a windy day and be amazed at how the needles diffuse the wind almost entirely. A superb subject for giving a windy site some shelter.
Species available: Pinus nigra, Pinus nigra Austriaca, Pinus pinea, Pinus sylvestris.

Our Sizes
The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.

A Large tree will be supplied in a 85L or 100L container and will be approximately 4 to 5 metres tall. |
