One of the few evergreen trees that can be pruned back to bare wood and come back with a vengeance to reform its screening use within months. If hard pruning is to be done, this is best undertaken in March. Laurel has been used in the UK since the 1860s and thrives on most soils. It is fond of the trace element, magnesium, so if your screen is slightly off colour, apply an all purpose granular fertilizer that has this ingredient included and they return to full vigour very rapidly.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
