River Birch (Betula)

Originally found along the river banks of the south eastern United States, this lovely birch has shaggy flaking, cinnamon/ orange bark and soft green diamond shaped leaves that turn a lovely yellow in autumn. Once established it can thrive on even dry soils and unlike our native birch it can cope with extremely hot temperatures so it may be more widely planted now our summer temperatures are on the rise.

The sizes of trees supplied is governed by the pot size they are grown in. The approximate sizes of the specimens will be determined by the species.
