Golden Acacia (Robinia)

A largish tree of broadly pyramidal habit, it is best known for its beautiful golden yellow foliage from late spring to autumn. It thrives on most soils but is relatively brittle so we don't advise it in exposed locations. Once established it is fairly drought resistant but unlike normal False Acacia it rarely flowers. A great tree but very brittle so is prone to twiggy damage at delivery. This is nothing to worry about, just prune back the effected branches and the tree will very quickly grow through.
